To make VocalMask behave like a microphone in calls, I combined modern real-time audio processing, licensing, encryption and web control with virtual audio-routing technology that has existed for years.
Sometimes innovation is not inventing everything again. It is recognizing that part of the problem was already solved—and connecting that proven solution to today’s technology in a better way.
Building this project challenged me across:
- Real-time voice processing
- Virtual microphone routing
- Go and Web Audio
- Secure device-bound licensing
- Payments and subscription management
- Windows installation
- Docker and cloud deployment
- Product and admin-interface design
